    Hello form Kalifornicate

I am former military but no combat (4 years ROTC/ 2 years reserve and 6 months active). Primary carry (when I can out here) is a Glock 27. Okay to CC in Nevada thanks to Front Sight. Lawyer for a longtime representing developers, contractors and subcontractors and now cities.

Enjoy shooting and recently purchased a S&W 44 mag. 4" ultralight. Kicks pretty good but I'm okay with the 44 special. Like my Glock 27 and my Springfield XD 40 but I am really looking for opinions on best concealed carry and holster combination. I also recently was given a Ruger LCR .38 - interesting and extremely light/small handgun. Don't want to start WW III but I am interested in what you people think.

Thanks to the forum sponsor and to all of you that participate regularly. Very well done and interesting!

Welcome from Southwestern Virginia. Love my LCR I have both the .38 and the .357 versions. The .357 is pure punishment tho, unless you have .38's in it.

Well, you have two great firearms for concealed carry since the Glock 27 and Ruger LCR are very lightweight, small and easy to conceal. I think your best option would be to get a very good inside the waistband holster for the Glock 27 (Crossbreed Supertuck or Comp-Tac MTAC) and then get a good pocket holster for the Ruger LCR. This would allow you to conceal 24/7 with all kinds of attires. For example: you could carry your Glock 27 with casual clothes and the Ruger LCR with your work and summer attire.

    Welcome and good luck!

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
