I'm in New York, about to move to Ft. Worth. Can't CC a gun here, but I plan to in Texas.
Right now I am making do with a knife, which is, amazingly, legal to carry here; though the Manhattan DA is trying to use the state statute forbidding carriage of "gravity knives" to make it illegal to carry any knife that you can open by centrifugal force. Which is pretty much any folding knife I've seen lately that's not a Boy Scout knife. :(
