    Introduction

    Hi everybody,
I am new to this so bare with me. I am 55, male, and have a heart and lung disease. I cannot do anything strenuous for more than a couple minutes, then I have a hard time getting my breath. So I cannot defend myself from an attack. I am moving to Florida this fall, and will be in the "big cities" doing my photography. I have expensive equipment I need to protect. Would it be possible to get a permit to carry?

Fl is one of the easiest states to get a permit.

but you have 'needs' so find an instructor who will work 1-on1 with you.
think Kel-Tec p380 in a holdster rig. artofthehide.com may still work.
possible to modify a camera bag to hold a thin 9mm also.
photography is fun, hobby of mine, Minolta film and the new samsung nx100 w/ adapter for my Minolta lenses.
just for my fun...how about you?

    Welcome to the forum!

Florida is a "shall issue" state; if you do not have a criminal record the only you have to do is to complete the required weapons training class, and you will get the concealed weapon permit. Did you consider that FL can be very hot and humid?

Check following link, it will give you an idea if you are eligible for a Florida concealed weapon permit or not:
