Hello from Kansas City, Missouri
Hello,
I just sort of stumbled onto this site...I've become an active member over at the Kel-Tec Owners Group forum (ktog.org) and this forum looks like it has some interesting reading on ccw issues!
I'm not yet carrying...About 2 1/2 months ago I took the training for the non-resident Utah license, and I should hopefully be receiving that this week. Also, I probably won't be carrying right away...I don't have a good gun for it yet or the right rig. I've got a 1980s Llama 1911 copy, a 60s/70s SW Model 12 .38 snub (both gifts from my father in law), a Ruger MkII, an Enfield MkIIIno1* rifle from 1918, and a new Kel-Tec PLR-16 in .223. The S&W would make a good carry piece but I'm waiting for another gun to be released...the Kel-Tec PF9, due out in August or September.
I'm relatively new to guns, being younger (25) and not having grown up around them really, but I've taken a great deal of interest in them and I try to learn as much as I can about them (including rules of safety...something that used to bore me but now I have a much greater respect for).

Welcome from SE Missouri. The PF-9 will be of interest to me also if they ever ship. I like the P3AT for times when you need something easy to conceal.
