    New member from OR

    Hi! I've had an Oregon CHL for ~ 10 years, but only carried occasionally. I've begun to 'see the light' recently and have decided to start carrying as regularly as possible. About the same time went looking on the web for new sources of info on the subject (I had been a member of packing.org, in it's day.) I stumbled across this site, and have been lurking for a while. Truly impressed by the depth and breadth of everyone's knowledge and experience here, and what a great community it seems to be, so I thought I'd come out of 'lurk' mode and introduce myself. Don't know if I have much to contribute, but it's clear I can learn a lot here!

    Howdy - where is Oregon? It's where the temperature is 60 degrees throughout summer, and we sigh longingly when we hear of states sweltering in the heat.

    Or are you asking where in Oregon? I'm out near Forest Grove, not too far from Portland.
