I believe you have the right to appeal the decision. Considering the age of the charge and that it was when you were a juvenile, you can probably get the denial overturned.

It happen in Md called the Clerk Of The Court ..........they can not release Juvenile records......This is what Tallahassee wants....Please submit a Certified Copy of the documents(court documents/ arrest report)issued by the state that the charge(s) referenced above is/are either felony or misdemeanor convictions.....in 1972 any amount of pot was a felony charge.......still going to fight it

Welcome from CA. Fight it. Definitely worth the effort. Interesting if it was a felony when it happened even though it is not a felony now it counts as one? I guess it could make sense. Havent really thought of the ramifications if changing laws change the past offense. Interesting.

At least it's not a DV. You can make it work. Get a MD attorney and agree on a set price to release/ or expunge your record. This should be simple work any rookie can accomplish. Get your paperwork and re-apply.

just got the letter today, last name not common, hidding nothing, just thought when you turn 21 are clean, no record....maybe just have to show Tallahassee how to do math... could be that simple
