Howdy from west Texas
Hello from Texas. I signed up a bit ago, guess I should introduce myself. I’m active army. I am a CHL holder in El Paso Texas. I carry one of three - Taurus PT145 (mill pro), S&W Bodyguard (38 sp) J Frame, Kel-Tec PF9PK - depends on what I’m wearing that day, the 9mm is newer, but the most comfortable when I’m wearing shorts. If you've ever been to El Paso, then you know that heat is an issue, so I need "seasonal” guns to carry. If at all possible I carry the Taurus at all times, even if I have a smaller piece on me, the 45 is close by. I was a combat medic in the army for 4 years before nursing school, now I’m an Army LVN. Proud member of the NCO Corps. I’ve learned allot from this site, keep the good info rolling in. Also headed to Korea for a year soon, so I’ll accept your pity for having to go a year without a firearm close at hand. Time to brush up on my knife skills. Ohh yea, my spelling is bad, my grammar is worse.

Medic30, I can't thank you enough for the great service you are engaged in, and welcome to the forum.
Just cause you're paranoid, doesn't mean you're wrong....

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
