    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

you say you have guns in the house so I'll guess you have more than a passing familiarity with them. try also Newington Gun Exchange for a large number of used at
best prices in the area. Hoffmans is against politeness and if it is not a for sure sale, their prices are the highest of the 4. Riverview ain't great but they are pleasant people.
renting at Hoffman's is only slightly better than the cost of trading up. go figure. good luck.
I have heard the same about those places. we have the Outpost by where im from, they suck. They screwed me out of $150 for my pistol permit. said i didnt pay even though i had a recipt....

So 3 hours walking around getting hand time with a slew of pistols i ended up walking out with a Taurus 24/7PRO DS 9mm. It was in my price range i wanted to spend and feels really nice in my hand. In the half hour ive been home ive taken it apart and put it back together 3 times, cleaned it and lubed it.

heres a pic, better ones to come tomorrow. in the pic is also part of the big turbo going on the subaru tomorrow :)

Newington Gun Excchange are good people, and have a relationship with Wolfe's in Bristol who rent a lot of popular guns. Hoffman's has a great selection, good prices, and they rent, but the range has been in and out of service since upgrading.

Check Hoffmans over a 100 Guns to rent. $10. for 10 shots. It's better that buying a Gun You don't like.

Cabela's used Gun's I found to be on the expensive side. Sometimes a new one can be had for a few $ more, compare the prices. Also check out Welcome to the CCDL free to join. Welcome You came to the right place.
