Hello from the sands of Iraq

Just wanted to stop in and say hi. My current carry for work is a Glock 19 but when I am in the states, my CC will be the New Ruger LC9.

A little about myself,(taken from my profile) I am Retired from the Military (6 Years Marines and 20 years Army) and current working as a Security Contractor here at the US Embassy in Iraq. I own a small 01 FFL Dealership in NE Texas (Wife is running it while I am over here in the sand box). I provide Firearms Training classes (NRA and non NRA Pistol and Rifle) when I am back in the states. We also have a small farm with the normal assortment of critters. We have 2 retired working K9s. 1 is a EED and the other is a Drug Dog.

I have been lurking here for the past year and desided to join.

    Ray

Welcome fellow Texan and thank you for your service. I'm way down south now but have worked in Carthage, Longview and Shreveport and Lafayette. Even spent a year in Idabel OK so I know the area. Might be interested in one of your classes when you get back if it is open to civvies. Again, welcome and thank you!

Welcome from Minnesota! You may know one of my buddies over there doing contractor work, Joel Miller. He was at the Embassy for a while. Stay safe!

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
