I wouldn't say I got it quite that late - I'm a month away from turning 27. But certainly better late than never nonetheless. Funny, but I grew up in a gun-less household and now all three of my parents' children have firearms in their homes (1 LEO, 1 wife of LEO, and I the 2A civvie). Most definitely. Though I will say that our course certification was in itself above and beyond what Fla. requires for the CWL. The instrucor is a former Marine officer and was just an incredible wealth of knowledge. He offers a number of SD/tactical courses as well that I'll be looking into as time goes on.
