    Hello from another Texan

Hi everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I'm new to carrying, but not new to guns. With multiple LEOs in my family I have been exposed to guns from a young age, when my dad would let me help him clean his guns and teach me about gun safety.

After turning 21 in April, I took the CHL class in June, received my CHL about a month later and have been carrying every chance I get since. My primary EDC is a S&W M&P40c. I had a couple problems with it at first with the mag dropping but was able to return it to the deal and get a different one and haven't had a problem since.

I look forward to learning from all of the experienced CCWers and being part of this awesome community!

    Joey

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
