I've been happy with what I've been reading here the last few weeks, so I'm joining. I'll be learning more than contributing for a while. I carry an xdsc 9mm most of the time in a Supertuck, and I'd like to get an LCR for easier summer carry. I have a Beltman belt on order to replace my non-gun belt. When hiking I carry my xdm .40 in a Maxpedition Jumbo pack. I'm trying to learn more about ccw, so thanks to all for the informative threads.

welcome! Hey look into the LC9 if you haven't already gone with the LCR. I love mine and it isnt that much bigger to carry. I carry it in a CBST and love it. Disappears even with the finger extension for the mag.
Thanks, BigJon for the recommendation. I held an LC9 at the range recently, and I guess because I'm used to the full feel of a double-stack grip, I struggle with the single-stack. For some reason I need a grip that fills my hand. Even though the LCR is a small, light gun, the original full grip feels good to me. Too bad for me because I know a narrower grip is easier to conceal. Just one of my issues I guess. Do you like the way the LC9 shoots?
