Formally from Long Island. Other then some close friends and fresh seafood and shellfish that we caught ourselves,about the only other thing I miss is hunting upstate. I have quite a few fond memories of the Catskills,Aderondacs,(excuse spelling)Mountaindale ect. Beautiful country up there!!!!!!!!!!!!

I grew up in up state New York (Cortland)
I spent more time away while on active duty than I did growing up there. Still love it there, it holds a close second to Colorado.

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
