    Good Morning From MN

Been hanging (lurking) around here for a while, thought i had better join.

Have had a MN carry permit for over 25 years - but it is not honored by ND where I work.
So last year I also got a UT ccp which is honored by ND.

I carry a ruger lcp in my front pocket daily in a hunter pocket holster.

On weekends and and when my clothes allow I carry Citadel officers .45
in a Rhino holster that fits between my belt and pants.

My wife had always wondered about having a shotgun and a handgun in the bedroom.

About 2 years ago a gentleman(term used loosely) tried to get in our patio door -
when he wasn't able to he came into the garage and kicked in the kitchen door.

By that time I was able to greet him with a shotgun - I held him till the sheriffs dept got there
and took him off of my hands.

A point to add: it took the sheriffs dept 22 minutes to get there after the 911 call.
to their credit they did call 4 times to be sure I was ok - after they found out who I was
and that i was holding the guy for them.

Welcome from SC. There's nothing like an object lesson to convince a skeptic of the importance of being armed. 'Glad it had a happy ending.

    Welcome from Michigan!
If you have never broken your gun or bled on your gun in training, you're doing it wrong!

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
nor the arrow for its swiftness,
nor the warrior for his glory.
I love only that which they defend.
