New back in the gun scene... had a Ruger .357 police special 20 years ago... people were shooting into my apartment... bought the gun... at some point I sold it.
Bought a motorcycle and am traveling cross-country on it soon... bought a new SW 638... and am currently waiting my 10 days, now 9, to cool off enough to bring it home. However, I can go visit it and fire it at the range... just have to leave it there. Luckily, my new underwear only had a 5 day cooling off period...
A few months ago, the bike broke down and I was stranded for 6.5 hours out in the desert. The area I had just traveled through reminded me of Mad Max and Thunderdome... I'll never be in such a defenseless position again.
Thanks for having me and thanks for the info in advance.
