    i am a junior at Penn State. about to be 21 and am very much looking forward to purchasing my first handgun the day i turn 21 and will get submitting for my carry permit as well.

    i am currently deciding between an M&Pc and an XDM 3.8, both in 45 acp. will most likely come down to feel at the gun shop the day of as i am really attracted to both so if you have advice let me know

    glad to finally be posting after lurking for so long. i have learned so much in such a short time

    Welcome! I'm a PSU alumni and retiree. Loved my time at University Park. I have Glocks so my view will be different. I suggest going to a range and giving both a try. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
