    Hello from Kentucky!

Hi there everyone. I'm a new shooter from Lexington, Kentucky. Last summer my family had a bit of a scare regarding my drug using brother-in-law. Turns out there wasn't a threat from him but it made my wife and I realize just how vulnerable we were. We went to a local store and got her a Ruger LCR(she loves it). I picked up a Glock30 shortly after. It's been great fun as we've been learning together and actually have shooting dates. My seven year old son went to the range a few times with me before begging for his own gun. At Christmas I got him a Cricket22 and my wife a Sig238 sas. Christmas week we all went to the range and my nine year old daughter had to go too. She asked to shoot my son's gun and was hooked :) Last week I picked up her Thompson Center Hotshot 22 and got myself a Smith&Wesson performance center 327 snubby. We've stressed gun safety with the kids and they can recite(and more importantly practice) Cooper's gun laws. As it turns out a brief unfounded scare has turned into a great thing! My wife and I go next month for our CCW class.

Hello from another Kentuckian! I'm not too far from Lexington and frequent Bud's sometimes as well, you should check em' out if you haven't already done so, etc. Thumbs up for going out for the CCDW license. I wish I had gotten mine years ago.

Welcome from Southwestern Virginia. Sounds like a good deal to me. Get the whole family involved. Make sure everyone learns the safe way to handle them. At least the kids won't grow up not knowing about guns and gun safety. Good deal! Welcome aboard.
