Newbie from Alabama
New to this forum from the Birmingham, Alabama area. I've owned several handguns throughout my lifetime (I'm retired now), but have narrowed things down a bit later in life. I currently own three handguns: A Sig P238 SAS Two Tone, a Sig C3 with Crimson Trace Grips and Magwell, and a Colt/Walther (distributed by Umarex) 1911 22LR which I use to stay up on my 1911 skills without breaking the bank. For CCW, I generally carry the P238 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II with an IWB Magazine pouch to match. If I'm riding my HD bike, I carry in my vest. The C3 is a relatively new aquisition, so I have a Brigade Leather M-11 Custom IWB holster w/ matching IWB Mag pouch coming, so that I can carry it when weight/room is less of a factor (I'm a small guy). The Colt 22LR is a great gun for target practice and general plinking, and since the operation is the same as other 1911's, keeps my muscle memory fresh. I do shoot the others, but just not as much since break-in.
Glad to have found this forum and always ready to learn new things.
