Hi from NE Oklahoma
Hi from Oklahoma. I'm new to the site but not to carrying a firearm. As a former police officer I'm use to have a firearm with me 90% of the time. In my current occupation (I'm a surgeon) I can't carry at the hospital as Scrubs and policy prevent it. But when not at work I most certainly do. Last weekend I picked up a new carry system that I have quickly fallen in love with. I purchased a new Sig P238 Equinox, fantastic little .380, and a sneaky pete holster (looks like a cell phone case and not much bigger than an I-phone). I have to say I barley notice it's there, especially since I'm use to carrying an H&K USP 45.

Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

Welcome...
from Central Florida!
I just have to ask, how did you go from cop to surgeon?
ret
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Welcome from Portland, Tennessee
We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -

I was a cop through undergrad, worked the 3rd shift. Applied to med school and got accepted. I still do the reserve thing I couldn't just give it up.
