Hearty Hello from Mississippi
Hello to all!
Been lurking around a few days and have thoroughly enjoyed all the different threads/posts.
So about me -- briefly:
Been around guns and reloading my entire life. My dad was always an avid hunter and typically reloaded all his ammo. Long rifles and full-size pistols were always mainstays in my household growing up and continue to be now that I have my own family.
That said, I'm fairly new to the whole CCW arena. Being a lawyer who sometimes must deal with what some might classify as "crazy" folks, I figured I need to start protecting myself and my family a little more than in times past. So here I am.
I might also add that I served 8 years in the Marine Corps (infantry), including two tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. And, yes, I got to shoot some really cool stuff.
I look forward to reading and learning from each of you.

I'd rather have my gun and not need it than need my gun and not have it.

Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.
