Red face New to the Forum

A short introduction from the new kid from L.A. (that's Lower Alabama). I guess I can pass myself off as a kid until someone realizes there's 50+ winters of grey on top.
Been around firearms, shooting, hunting and such all my life. Raised on a farm and finally was able to move back to the farm several years ago. Walking out the back door and shooting whenever I feel like it sure beats having to pack up and drive to a range. Looking forward to participating in some of the topics. Not able to spend a lot of time on forums but I do like to check them out every couple of days or so.

We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Glockrocker, I graciously concede you "RTR" and congratulate you on another excellant year. I sure have enjoyed keeping it in-state the last 3 years. Hope we can both keep it up. It was my Sr. year at AU before I could bring myself to pull against the Tide at the Iron Bowl.

I'm seriously looking for a new EDC and right now, G23, G27, or G36 are at the top of the list. It would be my first Glock. My brother-in-law is a Glock freak so I've been around them a lot.
