    My recommendation, get a Glock G19 9mm and a few spare parts. It's all you'll need for awhile.

    Welcome and congratulations. I own a Springfield XD .40 subcompact, and like it very much (its in the $500 price range), however, it can be a bit bulky for IWB carry all day.

    We'll one to the forum and America from Arkansas! I commend you on getting here legally also! Way to many that don't. I love my smith and Wesson m&p guns. Your best bet is to go to a range where you can rent them all and try them (glock, Springfield,smith, sig, etc.)
