Hi from the Carolinas
Hello from the Carolina Coast. Obviously new here and happy to have found this site. Am waiting for my cwp and expecting it to be here by about the end of March.
I hope nobody will mind a few questions, my big brother was a gun man all the way and had me shooting a sawed off shot gun (chopped legal length) when I was a kid. I didn't shoot for about the past 15 years and am afraid I have forgot a lot and don't know a lot about guns except WOW, they are so much fun! Sadly my brother passed away in 09' and I don't have anyone to ask questions and as stated before, hope y'all don't mind questions from a lady that is happy to learn and pick your minds about guns, ammo and such.
This past December I got myself a S&W 40 cal sigma and enjoy shooting it. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of getting to shoot a Barrett 50 cal sniper gun and it was about the biggest rush I have had, it was sweet.
Well that's it, hope everyone has a blessed week!

Why thank you Hiram! I see you are a retired Trooper, it was a retired Trooper at the local gun show that was kind enough to help me with what kind of gun to get for protection.

If you have never broken your gun or bled on your gun in training, you're doing it wrong!

Welcome from Virginia. Feel free to ask all the questions you want. As an individual none of us are experts, as a group, you probably have 100,000 years of experience at your finger tips.

Welcome to the forum from SW Ohio. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There are a lot of helpful, knowledgeable people on the forum with a lot of experience and differing opinions. And in one respect, at least, you have more experience than a lot of us--I've been shooting for 57 years, but never have had the chance to shoot a Barrett .50! So you have "that experience" over most of us!
