Hi from TN
My fiance has been on here for a while and suggested that I sign up.
I bought my first gun about a month ago just after taking my conceal carry permit class. I have been around guns all my life but no one had ever let me shoot one. My fiance had been teaching me about guns and gun safety before the class. My first time shooting was when I was testing for the class. I surprised myself at how well I did. He and I have been target shooting twice since then.
Today I went to the DMV to apply for my license and got my fingerprints out of the way. I honestly feel better about myself and my ability to protect myself already. I know when he and I are together I am safe. He always carries but since he is a truck driver I need to be able to protect myself and my kiddo.
I am very thankful that he is confident enough to want me to be able to protect myself and him if it comes down to it...

I'd rather have my gun and not need it than need my gun and not have it.

We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
