The following is a list of states that honor your permit, all other states you pass thru I believe your firearm has to be in a locked case separate from ammo and kept in the sleeper area of the cab.For states that your GA permit isn't good for you can look at a Non resident license from Fl or UT or a couple other states ,that would allow you to carry in a few more states.
Alabama Alaska Arkansas Arizona Colorado
Florida, Idaho Indiana Iowa Kentucky
Louisiana Michigan Mississippi Missouri Montana
New Hampshire North Carolina North Dakota Oklahoma Pennsylvania
South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Wisconsin

I legally carried CHL while trucking for the last couple years I drove. Since I was an owner-operator and booked my own loads, I was able to stay out of no-carry states and off federal facilities. My original class instructor (wrongly) insisted CDL drivers are not allowed to carry while operating a commercial vehicle. Your company and some of your shippers/receivers may not allow carrying, which is something for you to figure out.

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Since you are running several states, it may help if you have an IPhone or smart phone and download the CCW app. There are two if them and not sure which one, but one of them actually allows you to set a route and see the laws in the states that you are passing through.
