New to the forum, not to guns
Hey everyone,
I came upon this forum when I was looking for some carry information. This seems to be a great place to share information about carrying and guns in general. I am from WI where we just passed the conceal and carry legislation(finally). I actually had the opportunity to contribute input to the current conceal carry law that was passed here. I'm friends with one of the heads of a conceal carry advocate group.
Needless to say, I have my permit now and carry regularly. I was actually researching information for my latest purchase a Sig P238. I come from a family of competition shooters and have been shooting since I could hold a gun. I haven't been carrying concealed very long but I frequently carried open when performing work in bad areas. I own a plumbing company and travel all throughout south eastern WI for work. I am married and have a young son.
I hope to learn from some of you seasoned vets, and hope to contribute some of my knowledge on firearms as well. I have taught many people how to safely handle a weapon, including my wife.

Welcome from the AZ desert, and congratulations on pursuing your recently restored right to carry. Everyone brings something to this table to share, and I bet you've got plenty of your own we can learn from. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
