    New Guy from AZ

Hey everybody. After selling my xdm45 a while back decided to get another one. Too many crazies out there. This time I was set on getting another xdm45 because I absolutely loved that pistol. I went shopping around and ended up spotting and buying a Ruger sr40c. $399 new as opposed to the xdm45 at $599 new. Plus this is alot easier to CC if I chose too And super comfortable. I've been out if the scene for a while but am anxious to reestablish myself. Mainly because I now have a wife and 20 month old son and like I said before it seems like the crazies are coming out of the woodworks and I would rather be prepared for something that hopefully never happens. Look forward to talking to everybody.

Cool Also a new guy from AZ

I'm new to the forum, too, and just bought a house in Lake Havasu, AZ, and similar to you, I had an XDM .40 for the last couple of years, put about 500 rounds through it (flawless operation) and then traded it last month for a new Ruger SR9c once I decided to get serious about carrying. Haven't had a chance to go to the range with it yet, but looking forward to it. Sure like the features on the gun, and it's light and compact, perfect for concealment.

Very nice up in havasu, congratz on the home purchase great time to do so. Yeah the xdms are extremely nice guns. I had roughly 1000 rounds of various ammo through mine and like yours always ran perfect. I could never compare my xdm45 to the sr40c that just wouldn't be fair lol but I am extremely happy with it especially for the price. I would definitely suggest thoroughly cleaning your sr9c before going out the first time if you haven't already done it. A lot of complaints I've read about these were from the oil and junk that ends up in them. Mine was soaked an fairly dirty out of the box. Mine also does not like full mags so I load them 1 short. Hopefully that goes away with a little more use.
