    FNG from West Virginia

Hello, my name is Richard. I'm from Georgia originally but after retiring from the Army in 93, I wound up moving further away to northern VA and now live in WV. I'm a Sys Admin for a company in northern VA so got about a 70 mile one way daily commute. I have a CCL; my carry right now is a SA1911A1. Want to keep the .45 but would like to get a compact double stack for carry. Eventually want to get into USPSA or IDPA or both, depends on if I can continue to afford all that ammo. I have a Ruger Mark II Target I use for plinking. Looking to pick up a PK380 w/laser for the wife to carry. She likes it and I like it; I've even thought about one for a backup. Any questions, holler.
    Richard, SFC US Army (Ret)

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

    Thumbs up

Welcome from SC. We used to have some land up in West Virginia, that I miss dearly. That is certainly "God's Country".
