PA Transplant in DFW Area of Texas
Hey everybody - just wanted to introduce myself. Grew up in central Pennsylvania until I was 25 and have been living in Texas for the last 6 years. Recently completed my CHL class and the state has the paperwork. There's some great information on here and I'm glad to be here!

Same for Me. PA transplant 16 years ago...Gun racks in back of pickups at high school
Love texas - you know by now Texans Figure your a Yankee if you come from North of the Red River! I just took my CHL, waiting to get it. Thats one thing PA has the same as texas - slow bureaucracy on getting stuff back.
Central PA - state college? I was from 2 hours north from Williamsport PA - in the boondocks. They also hunted and used guns - chewing tobacco and gun racks in the back of Pick up trucks. Yee Haw! When i used to go to school everyone drove there trucks with loaded rifles in the truck gun racks - another time i guess.

Thanks everybody - hi to the fellow Texans and everyone else, too (and I guess that one guy from Oklahoma, too...)
Close, Backfire, just outside of State College, Altoona. I know what you mean about the area back in PA. Honestly, it was way more 'country' up north than it is here in the DFW area. I built a gun rack and full on gun cabinet in high school shop class...good times!
