Welcome. Good luck on your search. There are a lot of single stack 9s that may fill the bill.

    Welcome from the Richmond area.

I've been intrigued by all the reports on the M&P Shield. Heading out to the Richmond gun show in hopes of finding one to fondle.

    Welcome from Southwestern Virginia.

In Semi-Auto: Lots like the Kahr PM9, CM9, or CW9. The M&P Shield is quickly earning a good rep.

In Revolver: Ruger LCR or the S&W 642/442.

I have a Kahr PM9, CW9, Ruger LCR, Glock 26, Glock 19, and Springfield XD9sc. My favorite to carry is the Ruger LCR followed by the Kahr PM9.

Welcome aboard Randall757 from the great state of Pennsylvania! I found the S&W 442 fits the bill.

I hate to break it to you bro but guns are not cell phones. a G26 fits in the palm of my hand and in very compact. smallest is not the best; I have shot s&w bodyguards and LCP's and a keltec and to me they all failed... if you are going to defend yourself are you going to do it with a less then adequate gun

Im 62 years and counting been messing with firearms since I was just old enough to walk. My grandfather was a master gunsmith. I had my first firearm at 9 years. I'm 5'6" 160Lbs and work out 5 to 6 days a week. I know what I can conceal well and its not a block of glock. I'm very much about using what fits as opposed to the biggest baddest. So I hate to break it to ya bro. I'm not going to shoot ya with my cell phone. I can carry that any where. I do appreciate your advice ... Kinda right at ya no punches pulled. But not knowing who your talking to can lead ya to assumptions that are not necessarily right.

I've carried all the pistols at one time or other.
