    Hello from central Florida!

    My name is Tim and am fairly new to this site. I joined before the site was updated. I am a 48 year old family man with a total of four "kids" (2 are mine and 2 are hers). All are over 18 and all are developing a passion for firearms and our 2nd Amendment.

    My background includes an extremely successful junior smallbore career, 7-year Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Tampa, FL (another lifetime ago), tactical combat shooting, reloading and benchrest shooting my .30-06, clays, fishing and hunting. My professional background includes 19 years in Financial Services (operations) and am currently a Service Manager/Operations for a large pest control company. Fairly educated with a BA and MBA.

    My 1911 Government is my pistol of choice, though I carry a .40 compact Witness. Times are changing and we must share knowledge and information if we are to survive the impending jihad (either foreign or domestically induced). Thank you for this site and I look forward to learning from my fellow members.
