I feel like we have a binomial distribution of members by age. If someone were to chart our members ages it would look like the back of a 2 humped camel, with the peaks approximately around 24 and 55.
That gives us at least two completely different perspectives on defense and carry. Welcome to the forum.

Good morning, and welcome. Take a class for running a pistol as soon as you can. Get some good dummy rounds for dry fire practice. STI is a good brand. You'll probably have a few holsters before you find the best one. I'm sure folks here can help you out with that.
I'm curious as to why you went from not owning a gun to being okay with carrying . I support that decision- its your right to defend yourself and loved ones.
