    New in Louisiana

    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I recently came across the forum while researching CC pistols.

I've had my S&W Sigma .40 for a little while now and have recently had the want to CC, so I began researching. I went to a local store to get a feel for various pistols and fell in love with the Ruger LC9. A day later, my wife surprised me with it. So, as of last night, I ordered a N8 Tactical IWB holster and I need to order at least one more mag. I will shoot in sometime in the next few days and I look forward to it. I've noticed that it does have somewhat of a long trigger, but it's modifiable.

I look forward to learning more in the future.

A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.

    Welcome from Wisconsin.

Did you find it hard to conceal your Sigma? I also have the 40VE & I can conceal it fairly well with a standard belt holster. Notice I said "fairly well". People who know I'm carrying know when I'm carrying & when I'm not (seldom). So far I've had nobody ask me if I was carrying if they didn't know my habits. Come fall & winter there will be no way that they'll see a bulge without looking hard & long. Now it's just an untucked T shirt that hides it. A little printing if you know what to look for.

Are you hanging on to your Sigma? If not I know of at least one person who might be interested.
