You're right, I didn't comment as I stated. Don't have the greatest signal here on Tablerock Lake. That said; I was going to comment on a post basically comparing high end customs such as Brown, Wison, LB, Nighthawk, etc to semi customs such as the DW, VBOB. I'm speaking of standard commander size 1911's now; not full on race guns. I was simply going to state that there IS NOT much if any gap between a custom and the DW. I have a few and did recently purchase a VBOB and am amazed at the quaility of the DW (it is a custom). It should be pretty nice as the majority of the parts short of the barrel are Brown. The gun is hand built and fitted and the bead blast on my SS model is great. In fact, after closely comparing to my 'customs', I would swear the frame and slide are Brown also. Won't get into details as this is not a review or sales pitch for CZ/DW...just making an observation. By the way, for those wanting a pick for favorites; can't be done. I keep the good ones and get rid of the crap. I've had and used many. Love all the ones the pass the test. Got rid of the ones that didn't. I will pick a favorite DA/SA though. As I carried a SIG while serving and fell in love with them, that's my favorite. More specific, the 220 Elite Stainless.
That was a very specific and "compelling" subject.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".
