New member from upstate ny

Hello from the Adirondacks!!! I have been a firearm enthusiast and avid target shooter (used to shoot for a college team and had hopes for the Olympics one day...family came into play!). I have just purchased an LC9 and will be sending in my concealed carry license request into my county. QUESTION: I have to give a reason for my concealed carry request. I am a sales rep in a medical field where I have pharma type products. Should I use this reasoning (on the road sometimes 1500 - 2000 miles a week)? HELP! Looking forward to getting my license and becomming an active member on this board.:smile:

Your reason sounds logical to me, too. That coupled with the fact that you transport pharmaceutical items. As far as they're concerned it could be drugs (maybe it is). I wouldn't be so flip as to say "because I want to carry", lol. That should be the ONLY reason a person feels they should need to have a carry license.
