Your education on all things weapon and self defense never ends. It is a awesome responsibility and must be treated as such. You will learn many things here...both good and bad. Be careful of what you take as "concrete rules" without references before putting them into action. This is good advice for any Forum.
Here are two authors you should read....first.
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals by Michael Martin.
Author Massad Ayoob. Anything he writes is good as are his utube vidieos. Start with his books.
Truth About Self Defense and In the Gravest Extreme
I believe you can find them on Amazon as well as other places.
Get them....read them and then let me know what you think.
