    New Guy in Pensacola Florida

Hey folks. Just sent off my application package yesterday. Hopefully it won't take too terribly long. Basically, I'm a father of two daughters (new one arrived yesterday!) and former Marine with 5 years and 2 combat tours in the 'raq as a Phrog crew chief, currently living in Pensacola. I love guns, photography and Jeeps, along with the simple pleasures in life like single malt Scotch and fine cigars. I own a Remington 1100 for clay and a Smith & Wesson 5 shot .38 revolver that I don't know the model of cause it was passed to me from my Grandfather through my mother. I'm about to make my first hand gun purchase for concealed carry, debating between an M&P 45, XDS 45,or possibly a Springfield Ultra Compact 1911. Thanks for reading.

    Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats!

All 3 of the options you mentioned are good choices, if you have any questions about them or want any opinions, there are plenty of knowledgeable people here that could help out.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
