Welcome to the forum. And yep, it sure is. Can't wait for light-jacket (OWB holster) weather.

Welcome from "The Grand Valley" on the western slope.

Defiantly do not let someone else's opinion make your decisions for you. Find what fits that you are comfortable with.

Also keep in mind Colorado (except Denver) is very open carry friendly, I have OCed everyday since it warmed up and have not had a single cross look, even when I venture into the liberal artsy-fartsy section of Grand Junction. Heck when I went to the doctor yesterday when the nurse weighed me she asked "How much should I deduct for 'The Fashion Accessories'"?

In the south east, I presume farm/ranch country, why not a western sixgun rig if you like the western aura, I've seen it around the Gunnison/Montrose area.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
