Im new
From Buchanan,Tn now spent most of my life in W.Va
Retired love fishing,boating,and guns
Years ago had sa weapons i carried loaded and half cock, easy cock when pulled,no more am old, unla nerve damage to weaker hand, replaced left knee, right one needing it,old arthur banging on the door.Over the years had gotten rid of many of my firearms for various reasons,so was or had a problem when trying to get a cc license what to buy im on ss so 500-1000 dollar guns are out 200-300 max.
And while I can rack a slide still cant do it repeatedly like like as to qualify with,so purchased a tip up barrel taurus pt22,easy to load and unload -got 48 out of 48.While I have an uncle mikes and a bucks holster sort of fond of my leather tagua easy wear any side in or out and generally IWB it,next to wallet.
Im hear to learn even though old,but limited in funding so stuck with cz70,p64 etc in what I can buy additional.
Also own and shoot a highpoint 45 jhp with 165 gr hydashock less recoil than a full size 9mm shooting +P just cant hide the sucker so its a nightstand and or truck gun,im 132 pds sopping wet.

Welcome from Wisconsin, hogdaddy!
Your problem makes me glad that years ago I taught myself to be ambidextrous. I'm essentially right-handed but can do many things, including shooting, left handed. Still racking a slide might be hard regardless.

Well I was adopted my parents left handed so taught me also to use it,unfortunately its my left thats weak, the one I would rack the slide with shooting right handed, can do so just not repeatedly or charly horses and draws up.With reduced grip strength cant shoot it left either.Shooting 6 at a time, loading racking 8 times minimal without ftf or fte or jams would be tedious and possibly not be able to qualify the tip up barrel solved that.Copy of the beretta and quite a bit cheaper, functions fine with winchester or remington hp or jhp or round nose, being a 22 they do get dirty easily and small so after about 50 rds pays to wipe the feed ramp other wise will get a minor failure to feed.Any small caliber rimfire would do that seemingly operates without failure as long as one does clean it.
I am however looking to upgrade to something tad larger again funds limit selection and like 32 acp unlike many as accurate.Could also still shoot a 22 or 32 with weak hand if need be,just not something that recoils a lot or id end up with it on the ground.
