    Howdy!

    Hey everyone,
    I have been coming across this site many times lately and figured why not join as I have seen quite a bit of intelligent conversation around these forums on all sorts of matters of Concealed Carry. This site impressed me on how many unique situations I have seen posted about.

    I am on the younger side (24) and just recently started to carry a firearm. I have been involved with Law Enforcement for just under 2 years now as an Auxiliary Police Officer and sadly in our city Auxiliary is just that. It isn't like some of the places where Auxiliary and Reserve are synonymous. We don't carry on duty at all (granted we do get OC Spray, an ASP, cuffs, Vest, pretty much everything else). Up until I joined the Auxiliary I was one of those blissfully ignorant people to the real world and didn't see how dangerous of a world we truly lived in. It took me an extra time to save up the money but finally got my CCW earlier this year and my first firearm (hoping to pick up either a shotgun or new pistol in a month or two). Ever since I got my CCW, I do carry often, know many of the laws (partly due to research, partly due to my position), and also Open Carry as well since it is legal in the state of Ohio.
