Hello from Northern Colorado
Hello everyone,
New to this forum and new to Concealed Carry. Picked up my CCW just last week. Looking forward to learning alot more.
Not new to firearms having received my first .22 rifle when I was 8, so I am comfortable with rifles but I am fairly new to hand guns. Took some lessons to get over my awkwardness with them. A little history: Grew up in Southport, CT (long, long ago) so Ruger was a household name. Used to pump gas occasionally for Bill Ruger Sr and have had a few drinks at the bar with Jr when he was just back from college. Not sure I should admit that! I have family members that works for Ruger so I gotta' be partial to Ruger. But I really like the XDs so I am a bit conflicted! Looking for advice there. Picking up a SR40C for the first carry.
Anyway, looking forward to learning more about CCW, the "do's and don't do's" especially when it pertains to Colorado.
