In observing the forum about where to take tests and costs. I live in Houston, Texas and I took my CCW course at Carters Country 3 1/2 years ago at a cost of $175.00.
I never got around to sending info to the state within two years so now I have to do it again. I called Carters and they said there would not be any discount even if I ha passed it before.
Today I started looking around for other CCW classes and I found San Jac CHL at 713-292-8792 in Pasadena, Texas for $75.00 given by a former police officer. In reading their info it looks like it will be a more thorough course.

Welcome from Wisconsin!
That's a good job shopping around for price on a CCW class. That 100 bucks you save can buy a lot of ammo, a good holster, etc.
