Welcome, fellow Buckeye!
Tidbit of advice! If you don't already have one, get yourself a good sturdy belt made for carry. "The Belt Man" (URL I don't know) is one place to look. I use an Uncle Mike's Instructor' Belt ("Rigger's Belt"). All of about $23. A belt is the foundation of carry.

Welcome from SW Ohio. As for your question about new to ccw. Read a lot and be sure to know the law in Ohio. Maybe even join the Armed Citizen's legal defense network. Great place for info and can help find an attorney if one is needed. Buckeye Firearms is another great place to belong for good insight in Ohio.
It's not a problem til they make it one!
