Greetings from Iowa
I am 28 and due to my upbringing, have always been familiar with guns; be it 20+ hunting trips each year, or just range practice with the .223/762x39 etc...
My father carries every day, and due to the times we live in, I feel it's necessary, and therefore, have elected to carry myself. I have recently purchased a Taurus TCP (.380 pocket pistol) and added a crimson trace. I am shooting Gold Dots with a bit more powder than factory (underwood ammo).
I have a degree in police sciences, however a spinal fusion has put that career on hold, and I am simply managing a security gig at the moment. I am unsure of where I will be going career-wise in the near future.
This looks like a good place to spend some time, and I would like to greet you all with respect.
Cheers,
Chris Finn

Welcome from Wisconsin!
Hope your spine gets up to 100% soon so you can pursue your career choice. My son entered the Milwaukee Police Academy a month ago. 5 months to go.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.
