It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6!!

Welcome to DC from the great state of Texas. Lotsa good advice here. Try all you can before you decide to buy. I really like my SR9c. No problems yet, and hundreds and hundreds of rounds fired. I still kinda want a .45 Kimber. Waiting to win the lottery to afford one.

Whelp, bought my first handgun last night, the Beretta Nano. The guy said "It's about time, you've been eyeing that for weeks doing your research", haha. Also bought a safe, pistol cleaning kit, and some Hornady Critical Defense (Well, technically the Zombie Max..) simply because the local Academy doesn't stock Gold Dots. I want Gold Dots but will have to order from some place else, but am also not going to have no ammunition on hand incase needed.

Should be going to the range tomorrow with my brother-in-law to shoot it.
