New to the forum - have been browsing here for quite some time - finally decided to sign up. I've been shooting my whole life and only recently acquired my CCW. I have a nice little collection of semi-auto's, but am looking right now at either the S&W 642 or 442 for my concealed carry. I like the look of the 642 better, but think the darker 442 might be better for concealed carry. As soon as I sell off this old Hi-Standard 22 that I have I plan on funding my S&W purchase. I've never carried before so I'm open to any suggestions on carrying revolvers. I like the idea of IWB vs. ankle, but ankle is certainly an option especially now that it's getting colder out and I'll be in long pants more frequently. So maybe a good IWB and an ankle holster is the way to go. Before I set out to carry I'm definitely planning on putting some rounds through the gun. I like that the 442/642 can handle +p as well and that is likely what I'll carry with once I get accustomed to shooting the gun with several rounds of +p.
Anyway - just wanted to introduce myself and feel free to suggest comments on my future plans.

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
