Hello from Maine
Just a quick hello from Maine. Never gave concealed carry much thought. Life has always been slower up here and more care free, but things have changed, so I made the decision so I could best protect my family.
Previously "concealed" (just so I could keep it under a jacket) an SP-101 .357 that I got for hiking and camping as well as home defense , but my current carry is a 9mm M&P Shield.
I've learned a lot lurking these forums, so I hope to keep learning and eventually contribute.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

welcome to the Forum.
If you've ever been to KTP you may have met me on the gun floor. Hey, I may have even sold you that SP or the Shield. Either way, you'll enjoy being on board here. Considered to be one of the BEST Forums on the Web.

Nice to see some north-east folks! I don't make it that far south. :) I'm in central Maine and in-laws from Bangor, so Van Raymond for the Ruger and Maine Military Supply for the Shield. I certainly called KTP plenty of times, but I'm sure you wouldn't know me from the other thousands of calls you would get on it! :)

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
