    Hello from Florida!

Hey All. My name is Mike. I'm 21 years old, and I obtained my Concealed at the beginning of this year. I'm originally from Baltimore, MD. - But i've spent the later part of my life in Florida. "Home" is Ft. Myers, but I'm in Orlando for work.

My first firearm, and the one I carry is a Ruger P95. It's a bit of a hand cannon for what it is, but I feel it really fits my hand, and I've enjoyed putting a few rounds through it at the range just the same. Hopefully within the next month or two I'll be able to purchase something a bit more of a carry pistol. I've got my eyes set on a few different ones.

Thanks guys, look forward to talking with you on the forums.

    welcome.

My first (personally owned I should say, as I consider my military issued weapons mine) firearm was a Ruger p-85 so about the same boat and I to love it. I might suggest if you like Ruger but want to go smaller for you ccw the lc9 (packs a punch though, likely from the double spring) so make sure you hold onto it. might surprise you.

Welcome from Western Kentucky. I had a P95 and it was too heavy for carry for me too. I bought a LC9 and shot 50 rounds through it and the plastic frame rail on it was already starting to crack and splinter.

I got rid of it and bought a Bersa Thunder 9mm UC Pro and haven't looked back. It's an all metal gun and is 13+1. The quality is much better than the Ruger and it is very accurate. I've put hundreds of rounds through it and have never had a failure of any kind with it. All of my friends that have shot it want one too now.
