New member here. My name is Jason and I am from the mid-MIchigan (tri-cities) area. I am receiving my CPL as soon as the gun board meets for October, and couldn't be more excited! I had lost my job last December (a week after my birthday no less) and have been slowly saving up for the cost of the license $1 at a time... literally.
I hope to learn a lot from this forum and its members, and most definitely contribute what I know as well!
My intended carry pistol is a Bersa Thunder 9 compact, 13+1 capacity 9mm. Its a wonderful pistol, very ergonomic and accurate and I hope it serves me well. I would also like to purchase a small 32acp/380acp pocket pistol for backup or deep cover situations reasonably soon as well!
So there I am, and happy to be here.

Sorry to hear about your joblessness. I'm in the same boat but I have the advantage of collecting a military retirement check each month. I still have to do as you do by saving a dollar at a time for the CCL & the gun. Finally got both.
Good luck & here's hoping the future is brighter.
