    Welcome to the forum.

I've personally never used this ammo, sorry.

Welcome aboard. I have never fired the Guard Dog. Let us know what you think.

    Welcome from Wisconsin!

I'm not familiar with that ammo but I like Federal. I use the Tactical bonded HST for SD but it's hard to get so I don't shoot it too often for practice.

You can always sneak a watermelon in under your shirt & claim pregnancy, lol.

My opinion is that I like the Federal GuardDog ammo as it was designed to not over penetrate for the home / civillian shooter. Many people will say that if it does not meet the FBI 12 inch minimum then it is no good. These people forget that the FBI 12 inch minimum was designed for the LEO / Federal, etc. type shootesr that *may* need to shoot through barriers, etc. *Most* of the time, a civillian shooter will NOT have to shoot through barriers. God Bless

Welcome! Guard Dog ammo gets a lot of unwarranted negative reviews IMO. It's knocked for underpenetration, etc etc. I think it's ideal for its intended purpose. I personally like the idea of being able to fire off a few rounds at a BG and not have to worry as much that a missed bullet might travel through into other rooms in my house.....like my kids bedroom. The round has plenty I force to enter a body and cause damage and death.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
